A través de este servicio en línea, las personas que dieron resultado positivo por COVID-19 en los últimos 14 días pueden solicitar la certificación electrónica excepcional por COVID-19 para el cobro del subsidio por enfermedad previsto en la Ley Nº 14.407. Solo se tramitarán solicitudes que se acrediten mediante el resultado positivo de un test de antígenos o por técnica de biología molecular PCR-RT.

¿Cómo puedo solicitar la certificación electrónica excepcional por COVID-19?

Deberás ingresar al servicio en línea y cliquear en la pestaña “Test”. Si tenés un test con resultado positivo en los últimos 14 días se desplegará en la pantalla la opción “Certificación electrónica excepcional ante BPS” en la que podés iniciar el proceso de certificación.

En caso de que no tengas ningún test positivo registrado, deberás consultar con tu prestador de salud o con el laboratorio que lo haya realizado.

Una vez que hagas la solicitud, los datos se transfieren al Banco de Previsión Social (BPS) y se analizarán en acuerdo a los criterios del Ministerio de Salud Pública (MSP) sobre el aislamiento por COVID-19.

Seguimiento de la solicitud

Se generará una solicitud de Subsidio por Enfermedad y se enviará un correo electrónico a la empresa empleadora. En él se informará el período de certificación excepcional y se solicitará la confirmación del último día trabajado. El envío de este correo a la empresa no te exime como trabajador de informar a tu empleador sobre tu certificación.

Al otorgar el subsidio, BPS te enviará un aviso a través de la vía de contacto que tengas registrada. En el sitio web de BPS, en servicios en línea, podés ingresar con tu usuario BPS y hacerle seguimiento.

VISTO: lo establecido en el numeral 5 de la Resolución del Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social Nº 208, de 31 de agosto de 2021, y la solicitud realizada por la Cámara Uruguaya de Turismo, de 26 de enero de 2022 respecto a la modalidad de declaración del régimen especial de subsidio de desempleo parcial;

RESULTANDO: I) que por Resolución del Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social Nº 208, de 31 de agosto de 2021 se extendió la vigencia de los regímenes especiales de subsidio de desempleo parcial establecidos en las resoluciones Nº 143, Nº 163 y Nº 1024 (de 18 de marzo de 2020 , 20 de marzo de 2020 y 21 de julio de 2020 respectivamente ) de esta Secretaría de Estado;

II) que en el numeral 5) de la Resolución Nº 208 se estableció que las empresas comprendidas en el ámbito subjetivo del mencionado régimen especial debían realizar las solicitudes de amparo ante el Banco de Previsión Social, en el mes previo a realizarse la reducción de trabajo;

CONSIDERANDO: I) que la creciente reactivación de la actividad económica del país ha permitido el reintegro de los trabajadores en amplios sectores de actividad, habiendo determinados sectores en los cuales la recuperación depende de factores directamente vinculados a la evolución de la crisis sanitaria ;

II) que se registra un aumento de casos de coronavirus

consecuencia del ingreso al país de la variante Omicron de COVID-19, lo que repercute en la actividad de algunos sectores de actividad, especialmente los referidos en la Resolución Nº 208 de referencia, que comprende a empresas de procesamiento y conservación de alimentos, bebidas y tabaco; comercio en general ; hoteles, restaurantes y bares; transporte y almacenamiento ; servicios de enseñanza; servicios culturales, de esparcimiento y comunicaciones; servicios profesionales, técnicos, especializados y aquellos no incluidos en otros grupos; entidades gremiales, sociales y deportivas ;

III) que consecuencia de esta situación resulta necesario modificar lo dispuesto por Resolución Nº 208 referida, respecto al requisito de declarar con anterioridad al uso de subsidio de desempleo parcial, permitiendo que las empresas declaren con anterioridad o con posterioridad el amparo durante los meses de febrero y marzo 2022; ATENTO: a lo precedentemente expuesto, a lo establecido en la Resolución del Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social Nº 208, de 31 de agosto de 2021, el artículo 1º de la Ley Nº 19.972, de 13 de agosto de 2021, y el artículo 10 del Decreto Ley Nº 15.180, de 20 de agosto de 1981.

1) Modificase el numeral 5) de la Resolución Nº 208, de 31 de agosto de 2021, el que quedará redactado de la siguiente forma:

“Presentación ante Banco de Previsión Social: sectores comprendidos. – Las solicitudes de amparo a los regímenes especiales previstos en esta Resolución, se presentarán ante el Banco de Previsión Social en el mes previo al que de orígen la correspondiente cobertura.

Las solicitudes de amparo correspondiente al mes de febrero del año 2022 podrán realizarse también hasta el 31 de marzo de 2022, y las correspondientes al mes de marzo de 2022 hasta el 30 de abril de 2022 .”

2) Comuníquese al Banco de Previsión y archívese.
